Meow! My name is Mae. I am a two-year-old beautiful black cat that is searching for a new home. I had a home that I loved, but there were some big changes in the home and I wasn’t doing well making the changes. In fact my world was turned upside down. Anyway it was decided that I would do best in a different situation. I have all of my vaccinations, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I think I would do best in a home with teenagers or adults. Small children and babies can get under my skin. I prefer a more “mature” group of people to live with. Could that be in your home?

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
