My name is Samuel- In Foster!

Meet Samuel Samuel is an approximately 8-week-old male domestic shorthair kitten who came to Rockwall Adoption Center after his previous family was no longer able to care for him. Thankfully, a wonderful foster stepped in, and Samuel is currently thriving in a foster home while he waits for his forever family. Samuel is a friendly, playful, and affectionate kitten who enjoys attention and is ready to bring lots of love into his future home. Samuel's adoption fee is $75 and includes his neuter, microchip, rabies vaccination, first FVRCP vaccination, and first deworming. Samuel is required to return to Rockwall Adoption Center on January 7, 2026 for his neuter and rabies vaccination. This appointment is non-negotiable, and adopters must plan accordingly. Because Samuel is currently in a foster home, an approved online adoption application is required prior to scheduling a meet-and-greet or adoption. Meet-and-greets will be scheduled with approved applicants in the order applications are received. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption. This policy is non-negotiable and violation of this health code is a criminal offense.
