My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lavern (Angel) 🐾💗

Lavern—also lovingly called Angel—is a beautiful 2-year-old Basset Hound/Pit Bull Terrier mix with the sweetest soul. She came to us as an owner release, and although she’s still a bit confused by all the recent changes in her life, her gentle, loving nature shines through every single day.

At 24 pounds, Lavern/Angel is a petite girl with a big heart. She absolutely adores people and will happily soak up any love and attention she can get. She’s incredibly sweet—truly a double–sweet girl—and just wants someone to help her feel safe and secure again.

Because we don’t know her full history, we aren’t sure how she does with other animals or children, and we’re also unsure whether she is house or crate trained. What we do know is that she’s affectionate, friendly, and eager to bond with someone who will give her the stability she’s been missing.

Lavern/Angel is ready for a fresh start, and she deserves a family who will show her what it means to be cherished.

If you’re looking for a gentle, loving companion who just needs a little reassurance and a whole lot of love, please consider giving this precious girl the home she’s longing for. She’s waiting to be someone’s Angel. 💕🐶
