Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Miss Kitty is new at Helping Strays and settling in wonderfully. She has incredibly soft fur, adorable little white ear tufts, and absolutely loves attention. Friendly and playful, Miss Kitty enjoys meeting new people and soaking up affection.
Come meet this beautiful girl at the shelter, she is ready to steal your heart!
Miss Kitty is two years old.
The adoption fee for adult cats is only $50 thanks to the Bissell Pet Foundation’s Empty the Shelters national event. All pets are microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and will be altered prior to adoption. If you are interested in meeting a cat, stop by the shelter during open hours. helpingstrays.org

Go meet their pets
We welcome you to stop by our facility located at 4221 Hanover Road in Columbia, IL.
We promote the humane care of all abandoned and stray animals in our community. We are a no-kill shelter. All of our pets leave the shelter for their forever homes micro-chipped, up to date on vaccines, and altered.
Founded in 2002, Helping Strays is a non-profit 501(c)(3) charitable organization supported entirely by donations.
Our lucky animals receive appropriate medical care, are featured on the Helping Strays website "adoption list" and are taken to several adoption events every month in an attempt to find permanent, loving homes.
