Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, Fiona Fairy is my name, or you can call me Fiona. I do know my name and I really like it. If you know cats, you will know that some are smarter than others, and I will tell you that I am one of THE smartest cats you will EVER meet. I am in tune with everything that happens around me, and I like to get my own way, but I have learned to adapt and share the attention with others.
I showed up at a house in the country that had no neighbors, so I was assumed to be abandoned. But I was not quiet and so I was noticed immediately. These people kept me around for a while and tried to find out where I came from, but since they already had multiple pets, I was surrendered to Country Cats.
There are several traits about me that are desirable in a cat like me, such as my fur is short, silky and soft, and I don't shed much at all. And I love to be held and cuddled, and will purr deep and loud, and will give you the best kitty hug you've ever had. So if these traits aren't enough to find my forever home, I don't know what are! LOL As you probably figured out from what I've said here, I am confident, but yet respectful and independent.
I get along with everyone, people and animals alike. I really just want and need someone to love me. Oh, and I don't want to go outside ever. After that one experience, I feel the safest being indoors.
Thank you for learning about me, and please check out my good friends on the Country Cats Adopt a Pet site!

Our cats are available for adoption for just $75, unless they have blue eyes, then the adoption fee is $100." This includes the spay/neuter, all vaccinations and parasite treatments. We adopt to 'approved' homes only.
We require that everyone be 'pre-approved' before viewing any of the cats/kittens, which is a simple, quick process. Our shelter is a private home, and some of the cats on our website are owned by private individuals. We find that this process actually saves everyone time and money.
