My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, my name is Lacey, and I'm the sweetest cat you'll ever meet. I will try to get your attention with my captivating green eyes, and will meow back when you talk to me. I mostly keep to myself, but I do enjoy gentle affection.

I wandered upon a kind man's property where he feeds neighborhood cats. He tried to find my previous home, to no avail. He perceived me as being naive, unlike the more feral outdoor cats, and he wanted a better life for me, for which I am very thankful.

Now, all I need is a forever home, with a kind person or family to love me and make me part of their world.
I am quiet and gentle and adapt well, but need to be indoors only because I am so trusting. Just asking that you give me a chance to show you what a good cat I am, and that you allow me to love you.

Thank you for learning about me, and please check out my good friends on the Country Cats Adopt a Pet site!

Additional adoption info

Our cats are available for adoption for just $75, unless they have blue eyes, then the adoption fee is $100." This includes the spay/neuter, all vaccinations and parasite treatments. We adopt to 'approved' homes only.

We require that everyone be 'pre-approved' before viewing any of the cats/kittens, which is a simple, quick process. Our shelter is a private home, and some of the cats on our website are owned by private individuals. We find that this process actually saves everyone time and money.
