Duke followed me and my dog home one day. For two weeks, this thin, tired, scared young guy stayed in my neighborhood, keeping a safe distance while I fed him in my front yard. He wanted to trust, but survival made him very cautious.

What he needs:
-Someone home often (he has separation anxiety from his time on the streets)
-A yard or property — he’d make an amazing ranch or outdoor companion
-A patient adopter willing to give him time, structure, and reassurance
-Someone who wants a deeply loyal dog who will stay by their side
