My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Apple Cider — 6½ pounds of pure snuggles, sweet kisses, and irresistible puppy charm
This darling girl is thought to be a Lab/Cattle Dog mix, but one thing’s for sure: she’s 100% good girl. Apple Cider is already doing wonderfully with house training and sleeps soundly in her crate. She thrives on a consistent routine—eat, play, nap, potty—and is catching on quickly.

She adores other dogs but is just as content curled up on the couch soaking up your affection. We expect her to mature to around 30–40 pounds, making her the perfect medium-sized companion—big enough for adventures, yet just right for cozy nights at home.

Sweet, smart, and full of love, Apple Cider is ready to be your new best friend. Don’t miss out on this special girl!

More about this rescue

We're a home-based rescue, so there's always someone around to care for the dogs. Most of our dogs are allowed to roam the main yard (as long as they behave themselves), and we have several food and water stations throughout. Every evening, the dogs are tucked into our kennel building with soft bedding.

Our focus is family-friendly dogs who get along with everyone. Of course, we sometimes don't know a dog's temperament until we meet, but we work hard to ensure dogs are going to the right homes for them.

Mission Statement
To provide rescue, rehabilitation and new loving homes for dogs that have been living on the street, abused, abandoned and removed from high kill shelters.
