Scout is a sweet, cuddly 8-year-old mixed-breed rescue looking for a new home. As our family has grown with a 1- and 4-year-old, we’ve realized we can’t give Scout the time, space, and attention he deserves. He would do best in a home with older kids and is not a good fit for an apartment.
Scout is happiest curled up close; he loves laying in your lap, resting his head on you, and soaking up endless head and butt scratches. He’s a laid-back companion who enjoys sleeping most of the day, going on a long afternoon walk, and playing fetch during his evening zoomies. He knows all his basic commands and walks well on a leash, though he is leash-reactive around other dogs, so a home with a yard (rather than an apartment) would suit him best.
