My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet Miss Lady — the sweetest little ranch mix with a whole lot of heart.

Miss Lady comes from an “oopsie” litter out in Arlee, where a sneaky pitty dad managed to romance a lovely Pyr mama. She was raised as a young LGD and has already been exposed to chickens, sheep, and cats — and she handled it all with her calm, gentle nature.

This girl is pure charm. She has that classic Pyr magic… sweet, soft, a little spicy, and endlessly loving. She leans in for affection, watches you with those soulful eyes, and truly wants to please. It’s clear she came from a caring home, but her previous family simply couldn’t keep up with her needs financially, and they made the heartbreaking choice to surrender her so she could have a better life.

Miss Lady is wonderfully adaptable — she’d thrive on a ranch or just as easily cuddle up as a beloved house dog. She’s smart, kind, people-focused, and ready to start her new chapter with someone who adores her.

Additional adoption info

Great Pyrenees Rescue, Montana's mission is to help rehabilitate abused and displaced Great Pyrenees dogs, and find them the best forever home.

Adopting a friend
We work hard to find the best home for our dogs. We want this home to be their forever home. An adoption application is required with a vet reference. A home visit is also done. PERMANENT, SECURE FENCING IS REQUIRED Our adoption donation for most dogs is $275.00 for our dogs and this money is used to cover vet expense, spay/neuter charges, transport expense and caring for our dogs until they are adopted. A senior dog age 8 or older and our special needs dogs, we ask for $175.00 donation. This adoption donation is lower because you may need more health care for the seniors or special needs. We want them all to find a happy home and to be loved forever. FENCING FOR THIS BREED NEEDS TO BE AT LEAST 5 FOOT HIGH.
NOTE: The electric underground fencing is unacceptable for this breed.

More about this rescue

Please note: We are not a shelter. We are a group of volunteers. All of our dogs are fostered at someone's home OR at Old Farm Kennels. They are loved by their foster parents, some of them are socialized and their personalities and traits are well known by the foster family.
