Meet Rumi! This sweet girl came into MAD as an owner surrender. She was found as a stray and the owners responsibly realized that they were not a good fit. Rumi is roughly 5 months old and is thought to be a Belgian Tervuren/GSD mix. Rumi is super sweet with a side of sas. Stay tuned as we learn more about this beauty!

All MAD dogs come with a series 3 Fi Collar and a six-month subscription.
We are an official 501c3 organization that does not have a physical location. Our home address is in Michigan, however, the majority of our dogs are not located in Michigan. The physical location of each our our dogs is posted with the name of the pet or in the title area. If you are within 4 hours of the pet, please be prepared to pick the pet up. We do provide transport assistance up to 350 miles. The applicant must drive the remainder of the distance of the transport.

We interview applicants and 3 references. References include 2 non-family members and 1 vet.
Home Check
After a successful Home Visit the applicant is eligible to review available dogs and talk to state coordinators about making a good match.
Approve Application
Pay Fee
All MAD dogs are UTD and spayed or neutered. An adoption fee will apply to any dog that is adopted after completing the above process.
