My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**WE ONLY DO ADOPTIONS IN BROWARD & PALM BEACH COUNTIES**

Meet Storm: Your Future Adventure SideKick

Storm is a stunning 10–12-month-old rescued boy with a look and a spirit you’ll never forget. He is neutered, fully vaccinated, and both FeLV/FIV negative. He’s as healthy as he is handsome.

This big, beautiful, 12-pound, boy wears the coolest black-and-white “cow spot” coat, but it’s his face that steals the show: bold black markings around his eyes that stretch to his ears, giving him a dramatic Batman-style mask. Paired with his glowing golden-bronze eyes and his tiny pink nose with a signature black spot, Storm is a total head-turner.

But Storm isn’t just a pretty face; he’s an adventure cat at heart. He’s inquisitive, highly intelligent, and always ready to explore. Storm thrives on stimulation and would flourish with someone who enjoys interacting with cat activities. Storm is looking for someone who simply wants a curious companion who loves to be part of the action. This is not a cat who wants to watch life from the windowsill. He wants to live it with you.

He’s affectionate, social, and already shows signs of becoming a big, impressive buddy when he finishes growing. Storm would do best in a home that appreciates his playful mind, curious nature, and desire for engagement.

If you’re looking for a smart, striking, adventurous partner to share your world with, Storm may be that rare once-in-a-lifetime cat. Storm is ready for his next chapter. Could it be with you?

This cat's adoption fee is $100 to go towards their vetting (vaccines, spay/neuter, heartworm/Ehrlichia/Lyme test, fecal test, pre-op blood work, dental cleaning, and microchip as well as grooming if needed). If you are interested, please fill out the adoption application For additional information regarding our adoption process, please check our FAQ's Page

All pets in the care of Get a Life Pet Rescue live in loving foster homes while waiting for their perfect match. They don't live in cages or crates (unless there is a medical reason to do so.) They are treated as family pets while in our care.

All pets in our care are fed premium brand holistic food as well as supplements and vitamins specific to each dog's needs. We don't buy inexpensive bulk dry kibble, our rescues are fed premium wet food diets as part of a comprehensive rehabilitation program to ensure maximum health.

All of our rescues receive complete quality vetting including full dental cleaning with pre-op bloodwork, spay/neuter, vaccines, and grooming.

More about this rescue

Based out of Broward County and serving the Tri-County area, Get-A-Life Pet Rescue volunteers retrieve pets who have been abandoned and provide them with a chance at the life they deserve. Our animals come from a variety of sources, including Animal Services, owner surrenders and as strays.

Get-A- Life Pet Rescue volunteers, including our Board Members, play an active role in finding the animals a safe and happy home. All our pets are given a full veterinary exam. They are vaccinated, spayed/neutered, micro chipped, put on heartworm/flea & tick prevention medication as well as dental & grooming services as needed. Donations are very critical as they assist us in giving each pet full medical treatment, physical and behavioral rehabilitation and the necessities that allow them to thrive in their "forever home". Because Get-A-Life Pet Rescue doesn’t have a facility to house the pets as they are rescued, each pet is matched with an appropriate foster home in the Tri-County area. With individual fostering, we are able to provide interested applicants with details on the pet's personality and provide a needs list to allow the pet a tranquil transition.

Our volunteers promote responsible adoptions and lifelong relationships with the adopter’s new pet. We educate all adopters and provide them with all tools necessary to have a balanced and happy lifelong pet. Our ultimate goal at Get-A-Life Pet Rescue is to increase humane awareness through education, resulting in the humane treatment of animals, and reduction of the over population and abuse problems of today.
