Daisy’s Christmas Dream: A Patient Heart & a Forever Home
Daisy’s Christmas dream is to finally feel safe, loved, and understood in a home of her own. This 5 1/2 month-old, 20lb Beagle mix puppy is a gentle, sweet soul who may be shy at first, but she has so much love to give once she feels comfortable.
While new people, especially men can be scary for her initially, Daisy blossoms with time and trust. When she bonds with you, she becomes a true velcro dog, happiest curled up beside you or following you from room to room. Her affectionate nature really shines once she knows she’s safe.
Daisy adores other dogs and gains so much confidence from them. She must have a friendly, confident dog in her forever home to help her continue coming out of her shell. She would do best with a female adopter, a calm household, and no young children.
She is crate trained, working hard on potty training (still has occasional accidents), and already knows some basic commands. Daisy is eager to learn and will thrive with an adopter who is patient and committed to continuing her training. She also needs someone home more often, as she is actively working through mild separation anxiety and does best with routine and reassurance. Like any puppy, she benefits from chew toys, enrichment, and routine.
Daisy is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines, and ready to start her next chapter. Beneath her timid exterior is a loving, loyal puppy just waiting for the right person to believe in her.
