Meet Sage A one year old female cat who is as gentle as she is adorable!
Rescued with her kitty sisters in Brookyn, NY, Sage came into our rescue as a shy little lady, but during her time in foster she has truly blossomed. Once she gets comfortable in a home with her people, she loves nothing more than to watch you go about your day and to head butt your hands and legs to receive pets! The key with Sage is that she likes a calm environment! Patience, love, and being gentle will go a long way with earning her trust and making her feel at home. While it might take her a little time to warm up, once she does, you'll have a sweet, affectionate kitty pal for life!
In addition to being gentle and affectionate once she's comfortable, Sage is also playful and a total foodie! She is very food motivated and loves churus, greenies, and almost any food or treats her foster mama has given her! She also loves it when her foster mom plays with her with her feather wand toy - Its her favorite!
Sage also LOVES other cats and is her happiest when she has another cat or kitty pal around. She and her foster sibling play together, wrestle, groom each other, and cuddle together. Because Sage truly thrives with other cats, her ideal home is one that already has another cat/kitten (or 2 or 3!)
As her foster mom shared "Sage is truly a sweet gentle kitty. Everyone who meets her says that she is as kind as she is beautiful. We are so proud of how far she has come with us and we know that with some time and patience, she will thrive with her forever family (and a future kitty BFF!)"
Vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. FeLV / FIV negative, spayed, and microchipped.
