Lightning is a 3-month-old male kitten who's looking for his forever home!
Lightning is the gentler, more cautious brother, but once he’s had a little time to settle in, he shows his sweet and affectionate side. He and Cyclone both took a few days to decompress, and now Lightning happily spends his days napping in cozy, tucked-away spots like a bookshelf cubby or the top of storage cabinets. He reliably uses the litter box, doesn’t mind being picked up or placed in a carrier, and comes right out with a meow when it’s mealtime—he loves his food just as much as his brother.
While Lightning is more timid at first, he warms up beautifully with a bit of patience. He enjoys rope toys, toy balls, and watching (or joining) Cyclone’s wrestling matches. When approached in his safe spaces, he leans into head and cheek scratches and purrs softly.
Lightning can be adopted together with his brother, Cyclone, or be adopted to a home with an existing cat.
Up to date on vaccines, FeLV/FIV negative, microchipped, and neutered.
To apply for Lightning, visit our website (www.waggytailrescue.org) for an adoption application. It is important to fill out an application as soon as possible for consideration, and we require a complete application for you to meet an animal. We are currently unable to respond to general email inquiries as an all-volunteer run rescue. If the animal is on our website, they are still available.
Waggytail Rescue CANNOT guarantee the exact age of any adoptable cat, or final size of any of our adoptable kittens. We rely on the information provided to us by veterinarians, shelters, owner surrenders and other circumstances bringing the cat into our rescue.
