Josie is a gentle, loving girl who found herself at the shelter after her owner sadly passed away. Through no fault of her own, she’s simply looking for a safe place to land and someone to love again.
This sweet soul has a calm, kind demeanor and does well with other dogs. She appears to be house trained and settles in easily, making her a wonderful companion for a home ready to offer comfort and stability. Josie doesn’t ask for much—just a soft spot to rest, a few kind words, and the reassurance that she’s finally home.
If you’re looking for a loyal, easygoing dog who will be endlessly grateful for a second chance, Josie may be your perfect match. She’s ready to trade the shelter for a couch, a routine, and a family to call her own. 🐾💖Adoption Hours are Thursday through Sunday from noon to 5pm. You do not need an appointment to come by and meet animals during adoption hours.

Our adoption process is based on making the right match. Though people can apply for a specific animal, we would like to know more about lifestyle and match a pet with that lifestyle. For example, we would not want to match an active dog with an inactive one. Therefore, our primary concern is the interview process and getting to know the potential adopter.
