My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our stunning Catio princess- Callie

This dazzling 8-month-old calico princess believes her job is to greet every human, dog, and cat as if they’re arriving on her personal red carpet. She was rescued as a tiny kitten with a viral eye infection, and while one eye still has a bit of lingering character, it absolutely doesn’t slow her down. She accepts her eye drops like a tiny warrior monk who’s decided “fine… but only because I’m adorable.”

She is outrageously social — first to the door when visitors arrive, first to squish herself into your lap, first to charm the dogs, and absolutely convinced kids were placed on earth specifically to pet her. She thrives in a home with other animals and will happily weave herself into the daily rhythm of a lively household.

If you’re looking for a confident, affectionate, dog-adoring, child-charming, eye-drop-tolerant sweetheart who will make your home feel like a sitcom with a very cute lead character, this calico girl is ready for her debut.

Currently located in our Punta Mita,Mx. shelter- can be easily flown to you in the U.S.A or Canada via our flight angel escorts!

Callie has had our complete Cat protocol :

* Complete Health exam by a Vet
* Feline tests to rule out FeLV, FIV & Heartworm
* Bloodwork 1: CBC (Mycoplasma check if indicated)
* Bloodwork 2: Chem profile

More about this rescue

Two women, one American, and one Mexican met in Sayulita through their mutual concern for the many sick, abandoned, neglected, and abused dogs and cats in the area.

They began working together informally to rescue, rehabilitate, and find homes for these animals. Their efforts eventually led to the formation of Wet Noses Rescue, which has grown from a small backyard operation to an expanding nonprofit housed on a property with dedicated facilities in Punta de Mita. Providing the animals with health care, rehabilitation, socialization, and careful evaluation which is needed for a successful adoption to new homes in the United States and Canada.

Wet Noses Rescue also provides Spay/Neuter clinics in the local community to reduce overpopulation and vaccinations to reduce the prevalence of serious diseases such as Parvo and Distemper.
