Here's what the humans have to say about me:
FOR ADOPTION: VALI is the gentlest one year old female you’re ever going to meet. This sweet girl was living the semi feral life and gave birth to a litter of kittens in what happened to be one of our board members yards. Once the cats were spotted plans were quickly made to catch them and get them tamed. Vali was caught fairly quickly after her daughters (#NWASVero and #NWASVega) and although frightened she has always been nothing but gentle. Slow and steady progress was made in winning over Vali’s trust and she is now a loving cat that throughly enjoys full body pets including tummy rubs. Vali is still fearful in new environments and will choose to find herself a safe hiding spot to observe her surroundings before venturing out. Even when she is nervous you can go to her and win her over with a tube treat or gentle head rub. Vali has been wonderful with all of the other cats she’s met so far. She loves to cuddle, groom and play with her daughters and has been quite happy to share space with the other shelter cats she’s met so far. Vali has had quite limited exposure to dogs but is open to the idea of sharing space with a very calm and gentle canine. Vali can still be quite overwhelmed and head into hiding when kids are playing near her. She would never hurt them but would be most comfortable in a home where kids just pop by to visit instead of being around full time. Vali is very happy indoor only and will do best continuing with that lifestyle due to her going into hiding every time she feels uncomfortable. She is spayed, tattooed, vaccinated and up to date on parasite control. If you’ve been looking for a super gentle and loving cat apply today at www.NWAS.ca for a chance to meet VALI #NWASVali #NWASVFamily
