Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Augie (formerly Chico) is a special needs blind 6 month old Mastiff mix who has returned to MAGDRL and is currently getting the training he needs to be the best companion he can be. Augie was not liked by the other dogs in his previous home and would be best as an only dog or in a home with a laid back tolerant large female. Augie will be a big boy, is growing fast and loves to play play play. He is doing so well with his training, and whoever adopts him will have the support of his trainers for life. Augie is loved by anyone who meets him, he may be blind but he does not let it slow him down one bit. Please consider Augie if you love a dog with a lot of character, have big dog experience and even better if you have blind dog experience. He is going to blossom into a wonderful companion with some maturity and continued reinforcement of his training.
Please include your home area code and a phone number where a volunteer can reach you when contacting us about an adoption.
