Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ronan is a very tall, slender handsome black male Dane with natural ears who came to MAGDRL from a home with too many Danes. Ronan was not socialized but has made great improvements in his foster homes since coming in to MAGDRL. Ronan was adopted but was returned. He is not for a home with very small children. In addition, Ronan bonds and attaches quickly and fiercely, and exemplifies the term "velcro Dane". He needs a little bit of time to warm up to some men but give him time and he will happily come to you for pets and snuggles. Ronan walks well on a leash, is good in the car, is crate and housetrained. He does great at dog parks and social events. Ronan will be pushy for your attention, he needs structure and boundaries and an adopter who knows how to be the pack leader. If you fit the bill, Ronan is the guy for you and will be a fantastic companion. He is currently in a home with two male large dogs and they play and get along well.
