Dog's Name: Blondie (BLO1225DICFD)
Estimated Breed: Great Pyrenees mix
Approximate Age: 3 years
Approximate Weight: 60 lbs
Currently Living at: Boarding
Adoption Fee: $400
DOG'S DESCRIPTION: Meet Blondie, the gentle Pyrenees mix with the softest heart and the fluffiest coat!
This young, large-and-lovely lady is a sweet, shy, submissive soul who’s just figuring out that the world isn’t actually as scary as it seems… especially when snacks are involved.
Blondie has zero issues with other dogs and when she trusts you, you'll have a friend for life. She’s basically a living weighted blanket—quiet, comforting, and incredibly soothing to have around. Because she’s a tender-hearted girl, Blondie would thrive in a calmer home with humans who understand the comfort of slow mornings, soft voices, and gentle encouragement. Once she knows she’s safe, her tail starts doing the sweetest slow wag that could warm even the coldest winter day.
If you’re looking for a big, beautiful, kind-hearted companion who will love you with her whole fluffy self—quietly, sweetly, and sincerely—Blondie is ready to steal your heart. Apply today and come meet your new best friend!
Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. K-9 Lifesavers strongly recommends all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
Adoption fees cover basic vetting, rabies (if puppy is old enough), distemper/parvo vaccinations, deworming, monthly heartworm prevention while in our care (if old enough), monthly flea/tick prevention while in our care, and transport costs. K-9 Lifesavers will also cover the cost of spay/neuter at our partner vet at 6 months of age or reimburse adopter for up to the amount of our partner vet cost should you choose to spay/neuter at your own vet.
Foster Program: Foster homes provide for the temporary care of a rescue until the dog is placed into a loving, forever home. For more information on becoming a foster parent, and our Foster Program, visit http://www.k-9lifesavers.org/foster/ or email our Foster Coordinator at foster@k-9lifesavers.org
