Hidy do! My name is Tootie! I am a cute little gal that was recently rescued by a kind stranger. I was darting in and out of traffic near a busy intersection here in town. YIKES! I was really happy for the “assist” by my kind rescuer! He was able to scoop me up and bring me straight to the shelter. I was never claimed by my owner and I am now available for adoption. I have all of my vaccinations for my age, I have a microchip, and I have been spayed. I am a sweet little girl that would love to be in my “forever” home soon! I want to be ready for the holidays!!

The placement of our adoptable animals into loving, caring homes and thereby enhancing the bond between animals and people is the primary goal of the Montgomery Humane Society Adoption Program. We focus on education so that every pet owner benefits from their contact with the shelter, whether or not they adopt an animal from us. Matching the needs of the animal and the potential owner, as well as educating potential owners about responsible pet ownership, helps to ensure successful pet placements of shelter animals.
