My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

🪐🪐💫These puppies are absolutely out of this world!💫🪐🪐

⭐️🌙And we’re not just saying that because of their names.⭐️🌙 These terrific 4-month-old mixed-breed puppies (we think momma has some Whippet, dad looks Boxer/Lab) babies in the Planet Litter are full of personality and fun, fun, fun. We think they’ll be 30-50 pounds full-grown.

Ceres (F), Earth (F), Halley’s Comet (F), Jupiter (M), Mars (M), Mercury (M), Moon (M), Neptune (M), Saturn(M), Sun (M) and Venus (F) come in a variety of beautiful colors and markings, all with the most irresistible wrinkly, sweet heads.

We’ve never seen dogs so exuberant about their toys as these darling babies are. They are all about crinkly toys and squeaky toys, but then as soon as they see a ball…they’re off to the races. You’ll have free live entertainment in your home, and it’ll be so much fun to watch and participate.

They are puppies, though, so inevitably they are gonna crash. Not into an asteroid, but into a pillow or a blanket or someone’s arms, to sleep and snuggle so, so hard. They’ll be glad to have a person(s) to love them and comfort them as they drift off into the galaxy and go to sleep.

The Planet Litter are learning commands like sit and down, and they’ll be ready for everything you want to teach them, too. Shoot for the stars, and bring one of them home.

They’ll each be spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. And they’ll come home current on flea/tick prevention and heartworm preventative. Their adoption fee is $175. To meet them, get approved to adopt at PawsitiveTailsKC.org.

Go meet their pets

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.

Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.

More about this rescue

Pawsitive Tails strives to be something different in the animal adoption community. We simply want to help dogs and puppies find new homes by matching the right dog to the right family.

Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes.
