Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Ms. Potato, a Spud-tacular dish of pure comfort!
Ms. Potato is a mellow 2-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix weighing 50 lbs. She is house-trained, gets along well with other dogs, and walks beautifully on a leash.
Ms. Potato is a fully-loaded (well-mannered) spud! She already knows ‘sit’, ‘come’, ‘outside’, and even sleeps quietly in her open kennel at night! She enjoys all the usual doggie things like squeaky toys and bones, but deep down, she’s a couch potato at heart who loves nothing more than cuddling next to her person.
This sweet potato (see what we did there) is spayed, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. She is also current on flea and tick preventatives and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $175. You can fill out an adoption application at PawsitiveTailsKC.org. Meet-and-greets will be set up with approved adopters.
If your home is missing that warm, feel-good dish of comfort, Ms. Potato is the perfect well-seasoned tater just waiting for you! Fill out an app and come scoop her up!!

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.
What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.

More about this rescue
Pawsitive Tails strives to be something different in the animal adoption community. We simply want to help dogs and puppies find new homes by matching the right dog to the right family.
Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes.
