My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Here she is, your new gal pal!

Raven might have more legs than your other friends, but she is just as fun, loyal and optimistic – and she happens to be a great listener. Definitely not the kind of lady who dominates the conversation, lol.

You don’t have to make elaborate plans to bask in Raven’s friendship. She’s happy with some time in the backyard to enjoy the weather or a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood. And she’ll watch whatever shows you want while you’re relaxing in the evenings. You won’t have to worry about her stealing your wine either.

Raven is about 1 year old and weighs around 55 pounds. She is friendly with people of all ages, so you’re welcome to bring her into your whole friend circle for even better times. She plays well with other dogs around her size and bigger, so other 4-leggers are definitely welcome. She knows basic commands and is well-mannered around the house.

She’d love a slumber party too – and it’s fine with her if you have one every night. She sleeps all night with her person. She’s crate trained and house trained – just ready to come make herself right at home.

Raven should live in a cat-free home and with dogs about her size or bigger. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and current on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. Her adoption fee is $175. Apply to adopt her at PawsitiveTailsKC.org.

Go meet their pets

Where are you located?
Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

What are your hours?
As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.

Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.

More about this rescue

Pawsitive Tails strives to be something different in the animal adoption community. We simply want to help dogs and puppies find new homes by matching the right dog to the right family.

Pawsitive Tails is a not for profit organization focused on finding forever homes for dog and puppies. We are not a shelter and we do not have a facility - all the dogs in our program live in foster homes.
