Winky is an 8 y/o Chi mix weighing about 10 lbs available for adoption with Pawsitive Tails Dog Rescue. She's a sweet, gentle girl with a soft, pleasant demeanor and she loves to be cuddled. Winky seems to be house/crate-trained and gets along with other dogs. Given Winky is missing an eye, she's probably visually impaired (but it doesn't allow her down). 😉 And she might have hearing impairment as well, or it's simply Chi Selective Hearing (yes, that's a thing 😉). Winky is not a fan of a crate and is vocal about it. As with most Chis, she's not a fan of cold weather and is quick to take care of potty business as long as you go outside with her. If everyone agrees that the adoption is a good fit, you will sign our contract, pay their adoption fee and the dog can go home!

Pawsitive Tails does not have a physical location. All of our dogs live in loving foster homes throughout the Kansas City and Topeka area. This allows fosters to get to know each dog personally, so we can find the very best home for them.

As a foster based rescue, every person with Pawsitive Tails is a volunteer. Because we do not have a facility, we do not have “open” hours but can be contacted between 8am and 9pm.
Can I stop in to visit dogs and play with puppies?
No. We require an approved application to be on file before meeting our dogs/puppies. In addition, our dogs live in foster homes, so we must work around the foster parents’ schedule.
