My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suki is a beautiful terrier mix who came to us from the Weslaco Shelter near the border of Mexico. She’s about two years old and weighs 19 pounds — the perfect size for a travel or cuddle companion. Suki is an adorable, fun-loving little dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She enjoys spending time with her pack, often taking the lead during playtime, and she absolutely loves human attention. Clover brings energy, joy, and love wherever she goes.

Suki is located in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to St Augustine, FL on December 20th. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $450. The fee includes the transport cost.

Medical: Heartworm Negative, Chagas positive *doing great on Dr Madigan’s protocol

Suki tested positive for Chagas disease and has already started treatment. With treatment, Chagas is fully curable, and dogs go on to live long, happy lives. Tracy’s Paws is one of the first rescues to test every dog for Chagas, and we’ve had measurable success with our treatment protocol. We are also committed to educating adopters and the public about Chagas so even more dogs can be helped. Learn more here: https://www.tracyspawsrescue.org/chagas

Every dog adopted through Tracy’s Paws receives:
• Chagas, heartworm, and tick testing (when age-appropriate)
• All core vaccines (age-appropriate)
• Heartworm and flea/tick preventatives
• Regular Deworming
• Spay/neuter surgery
• Microchip

Breed listings are our best guess, based on appearance.

More about this rescue

My name is Tracy. I started Tracy's Paws Rescue with my dear friend Rhonda Harmon. Texas has a lot of unwanted stray dog on the streets and in our shelters. We are dedicated to helping them find loving families. We rescue, spay/neuter, adopt out, transport, educate through the Live Like a Dog PAWS program and advocate for stronger laws and the enforcement of existing ones.
