My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Liam – From Scruffy to Fluffy (In Progress)! 🐶💛

Liam came into our lives about 7 weeks ago looking like he’d had a rough start—very skinny, no fur, and carrying the kind of sadness that makes you want to hug him forever. Fast-forward to today and WOW: this good boy has gained weight, found his spark, and his fur is slowly making a comeback. And his ears? ICONIC. They look like they have little feathers growing out of them, and yes, we’re obsessed.

Liam is a total people-lover. He may bark for a few seconds when meeting someone new (just announcing his presence), but once introductions are over, he’s all in—best friends immediately. Food is one of his favorite hobbies, and after some TLC and routine, he’s now happily eating two meals a day (2½ cups total). Progress tastes delicious.

He is a certified love bug. Couch time = touching time. If you’re sitting, he’s touching you. It’s the rule. He can be a bit mouthy like a puppy and thinks corrections are sometimes a fun game, but he’s smart and learning quickly.

Liam is housebroken, loves his walks, and is pretty darn good on leash—he might pull a bit if he sees someone exciting, but he’s easily redirected. He just discovered toys about a week ago, and watching him toss them, leap in the air, and celebrate like he won the Olympics is pure joy.

He’s been friendly with other dogs he’s met. Cats make him curious and excited, but so far he’s just been an enthusiastic observer—future cat compatibility would need a little supervision.

At night, Liam prefers to snooze on the living room couch like the gentleman he is. Fair warning: if he finds a paper towel, it’s toast. He’s also been caught eyeing the counters (nothing major, just checking for snacks… for science).

Liam has come so far in such a short time, and he’s ready to bring love, laughter, and feather-eared charm into his forever home. Whoever adopts him is going to be very, very lucky. 💛🐾
