Hi, I’m Myla. I’m a sweet, friendly cat who absolutely loves people. I’m playful, affectionate, and a true lap cat—I never seem to get enough pets and will happily cuddle anytime. I enjoy being picked up and will politely squirm when I want down, with no scratching or biting. I may be missing part of one leg, but it doesn’t slow me down at all! I love toys—especially springs and wand toys—and get around just fine. I’m an indoor-only kitty, use the litter box perfectly, and I’m great with both children and adults. I don’t like my leg stump being touched and may hiss if it gets overstimulated, but I’m not aggressive. If you’re looking for a loving, cuddly companion with a playful spirit, I might be the girl for you.

The Windsor/Essex County Humane Society was founded in 1926 and incorporated in 1949. The Humane Society has a publicly-tendered contract with the City of Windsor to provide animal control and basic shelter services in the City. This is only a portion of the work done by our organization. In 2016 almost 12,000 animal came through the doors of our shelter and spay/neuter clinic. We can’t help them without your support.
