Valencia is a sweet yet shy buff orange tabby with pale green eyes. You can earn her trust quickly with treats and play time. Her very favorite thing is hanging out with her sister, Cutie. Valencia learns more every day how wonderful scritches and laps can be. If you`re looking to expand your feline family, the three resident kitties can vouch for how easily this pair takes cues from other cats.

Kittens thrive and adjust more quickly to a new home when they have a companion. Valencia and Cutie would love to go home together. Adopt one and receive a discounted rate for the second when adopted in pairs.

Email hracapitalhilldcfoster@gmail.com if you want to be her new home.

More about this shelter

At the Humane Rescue Alliance, we honor more than 150 years of commitment to protecting animals, supporting families, and advocating for positive change to create a world where all animals can thrive. HRA serves as a national leader and local champion for all animals.

With a people-focused, community-based approach, we treat every animal as an individual and emphasize specialized care for both animals and their families. Through our two campuses in the District of Columbia and New Jersey, we are the largest animal services provider in our region – touching the lives of tens of thousands of animals annually through direct rescue, care, and community-based services. Our teams find solutions to both small and big problems, from providing direct care to an animal in crisis to tackling systemic barriers to affordable, pet-friendly housing.
