This sweet 9-year-old Pit mix has been through more than any senior pup ever should. When his owner was incarcerated, Draco was left chained in a yard for an unknown period of time, forgotten and alone. When family finally came, instead of helping him, they took him to a vet to be euthanized because they didn’t want to be bothered with him.
Thankfully, his vet team saw his gentle heart and reached out for help — and now he’s safe with us, starting a brand new chapter. 🌟
And let us tell you… Draco is seriously one of the best dogs. He’s gentle, calm, and not bothered by kids or other dogs — though he would truly thrive in a quiet home as a cherished only pup, enjoying his golden years on a comfy couch. 🛋️💕
He needed some extra care coming in, and he’s been nothing but loving and patient. We’ve supported his walking with a towel, and his labwork showed hypothyroidism, so he’s already started medication and has a special shampoo to help his skin heal. With proper care and love, his future is bright. ✨
