Bells is a 12-week-old male kitten who came to us as a stray, so his previous home history is unknown. In the Care Center, he has been avoiding human interaction and appears fearful, suggesting he may have had limited exposure to people so far.

Bells would benefit from a patient, understanding home that can provide gentle socialization and allow him to build trust at his own pace.

Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) encourages everyone to
come to one of our three full service Care Centers when looking
to adopt a pet. Beautiful dogs, puppies, cats, kittens and
rabbits are anxiously waiting for a home to call their own. All
AC&C adoptions include vaccinations, a microchip,
spay/neuter, one month of free pet health insurance, and a free
office visit at a participating veterinarian.

30,000 animals each year. A non-profit organization, AC&C is
under contract with the NYC Department of Health and Mental
Hygiene (DOHMH) to rescue, care for and find loving homes for
homeless and abandoned animals. AC&C is a full-service
animal organization that takes in any animal in need in New
York City.
