Leo is a 3.5-year-old, 10-pound black and white parti Pomeranian with a soft heart and a gentle personality. He arrives a little cautious, but once he decides you are his person, he becomes the sweetest little shadow. He follows his foster everywhere and wants nothing more than to be close, cuddled, and loved.
He is a true lap dog who enjoys snuggling in bed, relaxing on the couch, and soaking up quiet companionship. Leo gets along well with the resident Pom in his foster home and is settling nicely into a routine. He can be mildly protective of a favorite snack or toy, but with calm guidance he redirects easily.
Leo is still learning leash manners and potty training, especially in settings without a fenced yard. He does well with structure and encouragement and is already picking up basic cues like sit, friend, and spin. He will thrive with someone who enjoys teaching new things and building a strong, one-on-one bond.
Leo will do best in a patient, calm home where he can continue gaining confidence at his own pace. Once he trusts you, he is loving, loyal, and incredibly affectionate.
Leo is fully vetted, including a full exam, neuter, dental, vaccinations, deworming, and fecal testing. He is current on monthly heartworm and flea prevention.

Pom Squad Rescue is dedicated to the elimination of the euthanasia of healthy, treatable, and surrendered Pomeranians and other small dogs from shelters, owners, and veterinarian clinics. The rescue will ensure that appropriate veterinarian care including spay, neuter, microchip and general health screening is completed on all rescued dogs. Pom Squad Rescue is an all volunteer based rescue that relies on foster homes to house rescued pets while waiting for their adopted home. The rescue will maintain the care of all rescued dogs in the foster homes while evaluating the applications of potential adopters. Volunteers for the Pom Squad Rescue will conduct fund raising activities in order to support the care for the rescued animals.
