Muffin: Ready to Share Her Permanent Smile!

Muffin is an absolutely adorable 48lb mixed breed who radiates happiness—she seems to have a permanent smile on her face! This lovable girl came to us from a difficult situation, so she is looking for a patient and positive adopter committed to showing her just how wonderful a forever home can be.
Building a loving relationship with Muffin should be easy, as she is truly one of the cutest and most affectionate pups we`ve ever had the pleasure of meeting! She is ready to leave her past behind and bring her sunshine right into your life.

Cohabitation Notes-
Since we weren`t able to get a clear history for Muffin, we want to ensure the very best fit for everyone involved:
Children: We recommend a supervised meet-and-greet with any children in the household prior to adoption.
Dogs: If you have a resident dog, we require a dog-to-dog meeting to ensure they are the best of friends before adoption!

Health Status-
Muffin appears to be a healthy girl! She will be spayed prior to adoption, is up to date on all core vaccinations, current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention, and is microchipped. She is ready to start her new life today!

1.
Visit the Facility and Find a Pet

If you are interested in adopting and meeting one of our adoptable animals one-on-one, we will have you fill out our adoption questionnaire.

2.
Meet the Pet

After completing the adoption questionnaire, you will be paired with one of our Adoption Counselors to help you find the right match.

3.
Sign Adoption Contract

If a match is made, we will finalize the adoption paperwork and have you sign an adoption contract.

4.
Take the Pet Home

Once the contract is signed you may take your new pet home, typically same day!

The Fox Valley Humane Association believes in caring for pets and their people. We have an open adoption process, and our goal is to get to know potential adopters on a personal level and best match them with a new companion. We encourage you to stop by during our open hours to meet our adoptable animals.

The Fox Valley Humane Association is open to the public during the following hours. You do not need an appointment to view our adoptable animals, we welcome visitors anytime during our viewing hours. In order to best serve you, please plan on arriving at least 30 minutes prior to closing to meet with an Adoption Counselor and ensure adequate time to visit with our adoptable animals.
