Bacon was found on the streets by a Good Samaritan, and it was obvious she wasn't born outdoors. Bacon was immediately friendly, snuggly, and craving human attention, so we think she was purchased and later dumped. Lucky for Bacon, this means she has a chance at an even better life!
Little Bacon is hilarious. She is the embodiment of the word "kitten". She's playful and fun, loves jumping and climbing and playing with toys. She also has the ideal kitten attitude, and goes into every situation with full confidence... When she gets overwhelmed though, she comes running back to her foster mom!
Bacon is a fluffy squishy mess of kitty. She will make an amazing buddy for a family looking for a cat with a strong and hilarious personality. Her furry ears and the smudge on her pink nose make her absolutely irresistible.
Apparently Bacon was picked on a bit by the colony cats after she was dumped, so she is still learning that when her foster kitten siblings wrestle with her, it's just for fun and not scary.
I can't even write a super long bio about Bacon because there are only so many ways to say she is perfect. Set up a video call to meet her today and I guarantee you'll agree!
___
Bacon thrives with kitty companionship once she feels comfortable. She does tiny little "baps" with her paws when she is overwhelmed during play time, but then gets right back in on the action. Bacon has never met a dog, and might be a little scared by a larger, rambunctious pup. With proper introductions, she would likely do great with an existing resident cat or a calm, cat-savvy dog. Or, she would be thrilled if adopted with one of her new foster buddies!
Bacon is ~3.5 months old, spayed, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and microchipped. She does a great job of keeping her litterbox tidy, all she needs now is her forever home.
Bacon is currently in Houston, Texas but can be transported to the Northeast, the Pacific Northwest, or locations along these routes.

ABOUT OUR ADOPTION FEES:
When you adopt from ROSES Rescues, you're doing more than giving your new family member a home. Each adoption fee pays for a cat on the streets of Houston to get fixed, helping end the cycle of overpopulation in a rough environment. We thank you so much for your contribution to our efforts! To learn more about our TNR (Trap / Neuter / Return) efforts, please follows us on Instagram @roses_rescues_htx.
(All adoption fees also include transportation costs, spay/neuter of the animal, vaccinations, and microchipping.)
