My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Daisy Mae! She is an 8-month-old beauty with a tender heart and a story that makes her all the more special. She came to the shelter from a difficult situation and is still learning to feel safe in her new surroundings. Despite her past, Daisy Mae has a sweet, affectionate side—she just gets overstimulated easily and needs a calm, understanding environment to help her thrive. She’s currently on behavioral medication to support her comfort and well-being. Daisy Mae would do best in a cat-savvy home without children under 13, with adopters who are patient, caring, and willing to give her the time she needs to settle in and trust. With love, stability, and gentle guidance, Daisy Mae has all the potential to become a wonderful, loyal companion. She’s waiting for the kind-hearted family who will help her blossom. To meet Daisy Mae, complete an online application at www.washingtonpashelter.org or visit during walk through hours on Tuesday 1pm - 7pm and Wednesday through Saturday 1pm - 4pm.
