My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mittens! Meet Mittens, a sweet and spritely 1-year-old black-and-white beauty looking for her forever family. Mittens came to us with a small ear polyp that has since been successfully removed. Because the surgery was in her ear, one of her pupils stays dilated—giving her a slightly quirky, “wide-eyed” look that only adds to her charm. Don’t let it fool you, though—she’s a gentle, affectionate girl with a heart full of love. She enjoys the company of other cats and has a playful, curious personality. Mittens will need a yearly vet checkup to make sure she continues to thrive, but otherwise she’s ready to settle into a warm, caring home. This special girl can’t wait to find a family who will cherish her forever. If you’re looking for a sweet companion with a touch of whimsy, Mittens might just be the perfect match. To meet Mittens, complete an online application at www.washingtonpashelter.org or visit during walk through hours on Tuesday 1pm - 7pm and Wednesday through Saturday 1pm - 4pm.
