My personality

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Jack, the ultimate adventure buddy! This big boy is a mix of Anatolian Shepherd, Black Mouth Cur, resulting in a unique and stunning look that's sure to turn heads on your walks together. Weighing in at about a solid 60 lbs, Jack is a young, energetic boy born September 2024 who loves playing outdoors and exploring nature. With his athletic build and playful spirit, he'd make the perfect hiking or walking partner, always up for a game and ready to discover new trails with you. Jack is a friendly and affectionate fella who enjoys the company of other pups in his foster home. He's a quick learner – he already knows how to sit, and he's a star pupil when it comes to leash training. This smart boy is always eager to please and loves nothing more than being by your side. With his loving nature and playful spirit, Jack is searching for an active family who can keep up with his energetic personality and provide him with all the love and attention he deserves. So, if you're an outdoorsy type looking for a loyal companion, Jack is the dog for you! He's ready to hike, play, and snuggle his way into your heart.
This mix is likely to be an intelligent and loyal companion with strong guarding instincts. Expect this mix to be energetic, protective, and affectionate towards family members and generally be eager to please.
Jack is neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and micro-chipped. $35 rescue adoption fee applies. If you would like an adoption application and to set up a meet and greet, E-Mail or call or text Lori at: 760-680-3713 Located in Grove, OK. More pictures and video available upon request

Additional adoption info

After the application approval, we set up a meet and greet with you, the animal you are wanting to adopt and any pet's you may have in order to see how everyone gets along. If all goes well we finalize the adoption. Our adoption fees vary from animal to animal.
What the adoption fee covers:
* All medical -up to date on vaccinations including Rabies, flea and tick treated, started on heartworm prevention (for dogs and pups over 6 months), spayed or neutered, (for dogs and pups over 6 months) and micro-chipped. In certain cases, some of our rescues require an extensive amount of medical treatment to get them healthy. We will spare no expense when it comes to the health and wellbeing of our animals. Extensive medical costs will never be passed on to the adopting family; but your adoption fee does help us recover some of the costs.
*Supplies you will receive with adoption – leash and collar.

More about this rescue

MISSION STATEMENT: 4 The Love of Rescue is an all-volunteer non-profit, 501(c)(3) animal rescue group. Our mission is to rescue strays, owner surrenders and dogs out of kill shelters and to spay and neuter as many dogs as possible. The rescue is run by caring volunteers who generously give their devotion, time, homes and hearts to save lives.
Through our Foster Care program, dogs have a comfortable, safe place to be until loving homes can be found for them. ...
We value the bond between humans and dogs and appreciate the important role that pets play in our everyday lives.
Our goal is not only to help animals, but to help people whose lives are greatly ... greatly enriched by adopting animals in need.
