Charlie was given to my girlfriend’s son’s girlfriend, who did not grasp the time and energy needed. He was chained outside full time. My girlfriend ended up taking him “part time”, that needed up being full time. He is somewhat house trained, but still has accidents. He is a chewer of shoes and TV remotes. He is suspicious of men and barks/growls, but has never bitten. He is high energy and wants to be a lap dog, so we have to correct him often. That’s the difficult stuff.
He is very loving, loves to see other dogs, gets along with my girlfriend’s cats. He knows sit, but being high energy he gets distracted. He would do well with a large family with other dogs to play with. We tried, but my girlfriend works full time and we have to keep him crated as he is alone most of the day. I live elsewhere or we could potentially get him trained up.
We both like him and want him to go to a good home, with someone who has kids or dogs for him to play with.
