My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Bear! We were picking up another dog from the shelter and looked into Bear's eyes and couldn't say no. Not only does he look like a teddy bear, but he acts like a teddy bear. He is so sweet and was so sad sitting in the shelter, relinquished by his owner right before the holidays. He was matted, dirty, and sleeping on a hard floor.

We have taken him in, given him his initial vetting, and bathed/de-matted him. He looks like a proper gentleman now and is ready to go home!

What you see is what you get with him. He is very even keeled, and wants to be a good boy and part of the family. He is too thin so we are working on putting the calories back on him. He loves to go on walks and on adventures.

He will be neutered in the coming weeks, and can go to a foster to adopt situation now, with the adoption completing as soon as he is neutered! Put in an application to adopt Bear today!

Additional adoption info

Our application process is meant to provide enough background that we can ensure the dog is going to a good home, but also be flexible enough that people can get their dog quickly.

Go meet their pets

We are foster based, and are happy to coordinate times for private introductions to our dogs. We will post events we are attending with our dogs on our website and social media.
