Their adoption process

An application is not required prior to your visit; however, with an approved application, after speaking with a team member, we may be able to put a temporary hold on your preferred cat or kitten through the next business day. Submitting an application online does not guarantee that cat is still available, nor will it put an automatic hold on the cat.

Adoption steps

  1. Submit Application
    1. Please submit an application and a team member will get back to you during these times: Tues.-Fri. 9:00-5:00 and Sat. 9:00-1:00.
  2. Interview
    1. We'll contact you to briefly discuss your application and answer any questions you may have.
  3. Meet the Pet
    1. Cats/kittens for adoption are located at The Cat Hut in Webster City, IA. 1118 2nd St. Open hours: Tues-Fri. 1:00-5:00 and Sat. 10:00-2:00
  4. Pay Fee
    1. Kitten under 1 year: $125 and Cats over 1 year: $75.
  5. Take the Pet Home
    1. Your new feline friend may go home the same day! Cat carrier is required. Please bring one with you or we have a few available for purchase.
