My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

DOB 9/7/25
Meet Yuki, the Independent Adventurer
Yuki is a brave little explorer with a heart full of curiosity and a soft spot for anyone who gives good snuggles. Whether he’s navigating uncharted territories under the couch or scaling the Great Blanket Mountain, this fearless feline approaches every new discovery with wide-eyed enthusiasm.

He has a special love for toys that rattle, crinkle, or squeak—basically anything loud enough to announce his triumphs to the entire household. Though Yuki prides himself on his independence and can often be found charting his own path, he still melts into a puddle of purrs when it’s cuddle time.

Playful, confident, and full of charm, Yuki is the perfect mix of adventurous spirit and affectionate companion. His world is big, exciting, and just a little noisy—and he’s ready to share it with you.

Adoption Fees:
• $100 for adults (12+ months)
• $125 for kittens (under 12 months)

All cats adopted through Silverton Cat Rescue come spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, microchipped, treated for fleas and worms, and have received age-appropriate vaccines.

We are not first-come, first-served. Our goal is to match each kitty with the purrfect home.

Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, run entirely by volunteers. All cats live in foster homes. Please be patient as we coordinate with fosters to arrange meet-and-greets.

Why Most of Our Kittens Are Adopted in Pairs

Kittens are highly social and thrive when they have a feline companion. A buddy helps them develop healthy play habits, confidence, and emotional well-being. Experts recommend adopting two kittens together, or adopting a solo kitten only if you already have another young cat at home.

Surprisingly, two kittens are often half the work of one—they keep each other entertained, comforted, and well-socialized.
