Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Peanut is the more outgoing of our gorgeous poodle sisters, and she absolutely shines once she knows she’s safe. She’s confident, social, curious, and loves having a stable canine friend to show her the ropes. Peanut warms up quickly and is happiest when she has another dog in the home—this is a requirement for her adoption, as she relies on a canine companion for confidence and emotional support.
She is housebroken, highly intelligent, and settles beautifully in the home. Peanut enjoys exploring, bonding with her people, and curling up for snuggles once her day is done. She hasn’t been around children, but older, dog-savvy kids may be fine with proper introductions.
Peanut is loyal, affectionate, and full of personality. Once she bonds with you, she becomes your little shadow, offering kisses, cuddles, and endless love. She will thrive in a home with structure, routine, and continued positive training—she’s a quick learner and eager to please.
✨ Every adoption with The Maine Dog Rescue includes:
• A free body language class with Sara Sokol at Mr. Dog Training
• 10% off your first training package

If you have a loving home with another friendly, balanced dog and you’re ready to welcome a sweet, intelligent, devoted girl into your life, Peanut may be your perfect match.
