My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet our fabulous diva Holly Dolly!

Holly Dolly is a gorgeous Calico girl that knows what she wants! Holly Dolly has been with us since October 2024, and took a long time to warm up to us. She was surrendered to us after her elderly caretaker could no longer care for her.

Holly Dolly is a playful girl that loves laser pointers and wand toys. She’s completely happy to entertain herself and LOVES her independence. She also loves to smack people as a form of communication.

She does not care for other cats. She especially hates a cat named Cookie. Don’t get us started on that…... She has spent a lot of time on her own so she needs a home that would respect her wishes. If her wishes aren’t respected, she’ll just smack you until you understand. For this reason, we don’t recommend she be homed with children and cats.

If you’re a busy person and you want a straight to the point blunt cat, Miss Holly Dolly is your girl! Apply to adopt her through Conquerthecolony.com/adoption-form.

We are an at-home foster and foster from our homes. When you apply please be specific as to what cat you are interested in, as they are often not fostered in the same place.

More about this rescue

Conquer the Colony is a 501c3 non-profit cat rescue. We are an in-home fostering rescue - meaning we foster from our own homes and do not have a central shelter space. Our main focus and mission is TNR - the trap, neuter, and return of feral cats. We are a small rescue that relies solely on donations and volunteer time. We work tirelessly to improve the lives of all cats, both feral and friendly.
