My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Gator! This sweet boy has such a zest for life. He wants to either be by your side or playing with his siblings at all times. He's got the cutest splotch on the nose and a super soft coat. When he's tired he instantly turns into a lap cat. Gator is outgoing and will make a wonderful companion!

This adorable kitten is currently FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus) positive, but is showing no signs of illness and is completely healthy and active! FeLV is a virus that can suppress the immune system over time. It is contagious to other cats that have not been vaccinated against FeLV or who are not FeLV-positive themselves, so this kitten must live in a home as an only cat, or with other known FeLV-positive cats. The virus poses absolutely no risk to dogs, people, or any other non-feline pets. With love, proper veterinary care (including twice-yearly check-ups), and a safe indoor environment, many FeLV-positive cats live long, fulfilling, and happy lives. Adopting this kitten means opening your heart to a truly special friend who deserves a chance at a wonderful life!
