Hello, there! Im Opal - a shy, gentle (stunning) young lady who helped my friend Pewter raise her kittens, and now Im finally ready for my next adventure. Im still learning that people can be kind and that indoor life is safe, but each day I trust a little more. I watch everything with wide, curious eyes (which my foster mom insists are gorgeous), trying to figure out the secrets to being a housecat.
Sometimes I sit at the window so perfectly folded in half that my foster mom cracks up. Shes convinced my silly side is getting bolder every day. I may or may not have joined in on a bit of kitten mischief and playtime a time or three but you cant prove anything!I already know Im elegant, but Im still figuring out this whole being doted on thing. With time, patience, gentle hands, and maybe a few treats, Ill blossom into a companion who fills your home with quiet sweetness and just enough playful charm to make you smile. I would love a quiet, patient home - I like the cats I have met so far, but boisterous dogs and young children would probably be a little much for me. And yes, if youre wondering, Pewter and I could go to a home together; weve been through a lot side by side.
