My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Batman (A140566) is a 1-year-and-11-month-old Labrador x Poodle mix who weighed just under 60 pounds on intake!

12/09/25 This wonderful boy is Batman! Batman was surrendered to the shelter in the hopes of finding a new, loving family! His previous owner had wonderful things to say about him and stated that Batman is a very smart boy who needs an owner with the time to continue working with him. We encourage his next owner to enroll him classes to engage is brain! Batman already knows a variety of commands and was said to respond to hand signals. He was also stated to be kennel-trained, housebroken, and rides well in a car! His surrendering owner is donating his kennel to go with him. Batman was said to LOVE strangers and adults but can be a bit of an attention hog and will push kiddos out of the way for more pets. He was also said to play great with other dogs but was known to exhibit naughty behaviors toward the cat in the home. Please ensure you are making appropriate introductions with all new animals to help set him up for success. Batman was known to have a few puppy-like tendencies, like digging/chewing and getting into the trash. Making sure he is getting appropriate daily enrichment and stimulation is important. If you are interested in meeting Batman, please let us know!
