This helps Colony Cats (& dogs) with pet care costs.
Klaus is a big sweet boy. He can be timid at first, but after he knows you he loves relaxing chin pets, toys, and to get all the food. He loves to cuddle and play with his brother and sister, Sunny and Violet 2. He is a chunky and super soft boy that would love to be your new best buddy and have a chance at a loving home.
**FeLV-positive (Feline Leukemia Virus). FeLV is a viral infection that affects the immune system, making it harder for a cat’s body to fight off infections. While it’s not curable, it is manageable with good veterinary care, a healthy diet, and a stress-free indoor lifestyle. Cats with FeLV need routine wellness checks, prompt treatment for any illness, and regular preventative care like vaccines and parasite control. FeLV is spread between cats through close contact (like grooming or sharing food bowls), so Klaus must either be an only cat or live with other FeLV-positive companions, he’d love to stay with his brother and sister! It’s important to know that FeLV affects cats differently—some live only a few years, while others remain healthy for much longer. Right now, Klaus is in excellent health, full of playful kitten energy, and showing no signs of illness. What he needs most is a loving home where he can enjoy life to the fullest, surrounded by people who adore him as much as he’ll adore them. And get lots of food! All cats are spayed or neutered, vaccinated and tested for FIV/FeLV. If interested in adopting me, please fill out an online adoption application at https://colonycats.org/adoption_app.html to expedite the process. Due to the large number of inquiries received, we are unable to respond to emails quickly.**
