My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Willie is a dare devil! She will not settle down until she feels like it, so don't try and suggest a nap if there is playing on her agenda! If she sees a sibling climbing, she'll climb higher and faster. At first Willie seems a petite tux. Her torso and head might be small, but this girl is leggy! Soft black fur covers her fierce spirit. Her cute little pink lip is adorable. She is shy with humans but does love a lap and gentle pets. Give her time and she'll play and snuggle with you.

More about this rescue

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 non-profit cat rescue group. We rescue abandoned cats & kittens from the streets and high kill city animal shelters in Orange, Los Angeles, Imperial and San Diego counties.
We also help people who need to rehome their pets through our Community Foster Program in that we post the cats on our internet sites and accept applications for them. We also help the owner screen applicants and bring their cats to our adoption events but we cannot physically take them since we are foster based. We do not have a physical shelter, we foster in our homes, not in cages which is a more natural environment for cats.
Lastly, we help reduce the number of unwanted kittens with TNR (Trap-Neuter/spay-Release) by loaning traps and instructing others on how to TNR and by referring people to low-cost S/N clinics.
