Bella’s story is one of heartbreak, courage, and incredible transformation. This beautiful calico girl gave birth during a rainstorm, tucked into a pile of leaves because she was too afraid to enter the nearby shelter provided for her. By the time Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR was called to help, only one tiny baby had survived — and Bella was doing everything in her power to keep that little one safe from the cold, the weather, and lurking predators.
At first, Bella was labeled as feral, but we quickly learned the truth: she wasn’t wild — she was terrified, exhausted, and fiercely protective of her baby. She was skin and bones, her body too depleted to keep producing enough milk. For the safety of her kitten, the baby had to be moved to an experienced bottle feeder, and Bella’s heart broke. Her confusion showed as a mix of deep affection and sudden aggression.
But with time, patience, and gentle care, Bella is healing. A week later, her predictable, loving side is now shining through. She adores other cats and has a nurturing spirit — grooming them, cuddling them, and wanting to care for anyone she thinks needs her.
Bella has been fully vetted and is now ready for the one thing she has always tried to give: love, protection, and a forever family.

We are a small rescue group that saves abandoned kittens and cats off of the streets, vets them and work to find them a happy safe next chapter. We are also hitting the overpopulation problem with hitting it at its core with TNR.
